Service description

Kharcha classifies Indian bank and UPI SMS messages into expense categories using our self-hosted AI. It is provided “as is” for personal finance tracking.

Acceptable use

• You must provide a valid Indian mobile number for authentication.
• Do not abuse the API (automated scraping, denial-of-service, etc.).
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the classification model.

Your data

• You retain full ownership of your financial data.
• We do not sell, share, or monetise your data in any way.
• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.

Disclaimers

Classifications are best-effort and may be inaccurate. Kharcha is not a financial adviser. Do not rely on it for tax, legal, or accounting decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kharcha shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
